This accredited course addresses the principles and theory underpinning the Scrum framework, and the role of the Product Owner in it.
… anyone aged 19+, living in Wales and in employment. The usual salary cap of £34,303 a year does not apply for this course.
…anyone wishing to build their competence as a Scrum Product Owner either in preparation for taking on that role or as somebody already fulfilling the role who wants to ensure that they are meeting their accountabilities correctly.
…anyone involved in using the Scrum framework, or accredited as Scrum Masters – with accountabilities to serve the Product Owner of their teams – and those with a need to understand how the Product Owner role works in reality will also benefit from the learning associated with this this qualification.
The course leads to the Scrum Product Owner qualification. The purpose of which is to measure whether a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of Agile Principles and The 2020 Scrum Guide, provided as pre-course reading, and a grasp of some fundamental techniques required to meet their accountabilities as described in the Scrum Guide.

The Scrum Master has no prerequisites, but we recommend learners have experience of working with Agile projects, or they have attended the Agile Project Management Foundation/Practitioner training course.

Mae rhaglen PLA yn bwriadu darparu cyngor a chanllawiau gyrfa o safon i gyfranogwyr cyn, yn ystod ac ar ôl eu dysgu.
Cyn i chi gofrestru ar eich cwrs a ariennir gan PLA, bydd cynllun dysgu unigol yn cael ei drafod gyda chi i sicrhau bod y dysgu cywir wedi'i ystyried.
Bydd hyn yn cynnwys trafodaeth gyffredinol ar y pynciau canlynol:
- addysg ffurfiol neu gymwysterau mewn meysydd cysylltiedig
- profiad blaenorol o fewn y diwydiant neu faes
- dyheadau gyrfa
- ymroddiad amser angenrheidiol
- ymroddiad o amser sydd ei angen mynediad i'r rhyngrwyd, cyfrifiadur windows a gwe-gamera/meicroffon
Bydd hyn hefyd yn cynnwys trafodaeth benodol ar y meysydd isod ar gyfer y cwrs hwn:
- any prior experience with the Agile methodologies, or hold and AgilePM qualification
- any experience with other Agile frameworks or methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Kanban, Lean, SAFe)
